Recipe Of Jaggery Rice In Just 15 min
A typical punjabi recipe for sweet rice is gur ke chawal. Gur ke chawal is typically prepared in the winter. Another well-known Pakistani cuisine is rice with jaggery. I've provided some advice on how to improve the flavour of gur walay chawal.

Ingredients:
Rice ( chawal)- half kg or 500 grams
Gur (jaggery) - 500 grams
Desi ghee or normal ghee - 1 cup
Almonds or any other dry fruits upon your taste - A few

METHOD:
- Rice should be washed twice and then soaked for 30 minutes. Remove the water from the rice after 30 minutes.
- Melt jaggery in water on medium flame . (Make jaggery syrup)
- Now boil the rice separately.
- In a pot add ghee and jaggery syrup , cook it for about 2 min , after few min add in the boiled rice and mix well.
- when rice soaked all the syrup , then cover the lid and cook for 5 min .
- Simple and easy jaggery rice is complete.
- Sprinkle with sliced almons and serve it hot .
- Enjoy.
